VISIT kaziranga

Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, India, is renowned for its dense population of one-horned rhinoceroses and diverse wildlife. Visitors can enjoy jeep and elephant safaris through its scenic landscapes, offering a close encounter with nature’s wonders.

Kaziranga, Assam

Day 1.
Start your journey from Guwahati airport or railway station and sightseeing in Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple  and head towards Kaziranga.

Day 2.
Early morning elephant safari at Bagori range or Kohora range. Sightseeing at Kaziranga National Park, including the tea garden, rubber garden, boat ride on the Brahmaputra River, and a visit to Orchid Park before 7 pm to watch the cultural program.

Day 3.
Jeep safari in morning or afternoon, move towards the tracking point in Kakochang and watch the view of the waterfall or visit at kaziranga national orchid and biodiversity park and then return to the hotel in evening.

Day 4.
On the last day of the tour, depart from Kaziranga hotel and head back to Guwahati airport or railway station.

Must-visit sites  Nameri national park and forest reserve, Maha Mrityunjay Temple depending on your travel plans.

Day 1:

  • Guwahati to Haflong (345 km, 8 hours) – Stay at hotel.

Day 2:

  • Explore the Haflong Market and try some local street food.
  • Enjoy a traditional Dimasa dinner.

Day 3:

  • Visit the Borail Range and Borail Hill.

  • Drive to Sivasagar, a historic town and former capital of the Ahom Kingdom.
  • Visit the Rang Ghar (oldest amphitheater in Asia) and Kareng Ghar (Ahom Palace).
  • Explore the Sivasagar Tank and Shiv Temple.

Day 5: Sivasagar to Guwahati (370 km, 6 hours)

  • Drive back to Guwahati. International Airport or Guwahati Railway Station.

  • You can also visit the Dhola-Sadia Bridge, a significant bridge with a length of 9.15 km.

Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh
